NEW BRITAIN TOWNSHIP, PA — The region's largest Polish Festival returns to the grounds of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Bucks County for two memorable weekends in September.

The 57th Annual Polish-American Family Festival and Country Fair takes place throughout the long Labor Day weekend - Sept. 2, 3 and 4 - and continues September 9 and 10 from 12 to 8 p.m. at 654 Ferry Road, Doylestown (New Britain Township).

Throughout the five-day festival, the public is invited to celebrate traditional Polish culture with live entertainment, arts and crafts, re-enactments, ethnic foods, midway rides and more.

Visitors are invited to browse through a Craft Village featuring tables filled with a wide variety of specialty items, from Polish imports to homemade jewelry.

One of the most delicious ways to enjoy Polish culture is to sample the wide variety of food available for purchase. The festival menu includes smoked and grilled kielbasa, pierogi, potato pancakes (placki), stuffed cabbage rolls (gołąbki), pastries, and Polish beer.

Festival favorites such as funnel cake, hot dogs, chicken fingers, and water ice will also be available. Since 2018, a new feature at the festival has been a Polish Vodka Tasting experience.

Headlining the entertainment schedule will be Dance Hall Detour, Crusade, Top Dance Band, Phila Puls Band, the Swingmasters, Polish Country Musicians, Simone Band, TKO, Heroes, the Polish American Stringband, John Goral & Gorale, Hey Ta, PKM Polish Folk Dance Group, Janosik Polish Folk Dance Group , The Jelski Family Ensemble and lots more.

Admission is $15 which includes unlimited entrance to midway rides all day long (extreme rides at additional cost), stage shows and special events.

The Polish-American Family Festival & Country Fair is a celebration of Polish culture, heritage and traditions.

Starting with a small, informal event in 1966, the Festival has grown from humble beginnings into one of the oldest and most popular festivals of its kind in the U.S. Each year the Festival attracts a diverse crowd of local, regional and international visitors, with over 25,000 festival attendees in 2019 alone.
